Cycle Mania

One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is to go to the gym and ride a spinning bike without a class. I have tried some of the LA classes and they do not fit my style. I would rather just ride my own ride. This morning I made a new play list to get jazzed up for my ride and I thought I would share it with you. When it comes to cycling I tend to use alternative and classic rock (you might need to borrow your parents’ I Tunes for some of the songs on this list). I find it much easier to zone out to this genre of music (maybe it has something to do with all of the drugs classic rock artist used and wrote about).

Enjoy the ride!

Boston – Augustana (warm-up)
Right Now - Van Halen (rolling hills)
Use Somebody - Kings Of Leon
This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race - Fall Out Boy (climb in 3 then sit in the saddle for the chorus)
Here (In Your Arms) - Hellogoodbye
Not an Addict - K's Choice (I am not an advocate of the lyrics, but the beat is perfect for a steep hill climb)
Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clear Water Evival
Go - Moby
4 Minutes (feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland) – Madonna (jumps)
Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas
Lay Down - O.A.R.
You Really Got Me - The Kinks
Right Round - Flo Rida
Riding The Storm Out - REO Speedwagon (This song rocks! I used it in a spin class and completely zoned out. I was high on endorphins. Use caution if you use this in a class with elderly people. They do not appreciate the intensity of this song. After riding this song I looked up at the class and saw the elderly people covering their ears and shaking their heads in disproval…opps!)
Tom Sawyer - Rush
Touch Of Gray - Grateful Dead
